AFFINITY ATHLETES IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE A
BRAND NEW PROGRAM:
Rise Academy by Affinity Athletes was created to fill a growing need in our community — providing a structured, engaging, and long-term development path for young volleyball athletes.

Designed for ages 9–13, this program makes the game fun, accessible, and skill-focused from the very first serve. Following Volleyball Canada’s Smashball program, inspired by the Netherlands’ “circulation volleyball,” Rise Academy offers a progressive, game-based approach that builds confidence and competence at every stage.
​
Beginning with modified, high-success activities and evolving toward full gameplay, athletes learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, spiking, and teamwork in an energetic, positive environment.

Sessions will run once per week (every Friday) at General Vanier School starting January 9
(8 weeks)

Ages 9–10: 6:30–7:30 PM ($115.00)

Ages 10–13: 7:30–8:45 PM (advanced 10 yr olds, beginner 13 yr olds $140.00)​

Our goal is to develop players who not only understand the game, but love it — creating a strong foundation for sustained growth in volleyball and beyond.
